Dr. Rajathi Sakthivel earned her undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral studies at The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She also holds an M.A. in Psychology, a P.G Diploma in Hospital Management from Annamalai University, an M.Phil. in Guidance and Counseling from Mother Theresa Women’s University, and a P.G Diploma in Yoga Education from Alagappa University. With over 21 years of professional experience, she has worked for 2.2 years as an ICU staff nurse at Apollo Hospitals and spent 19 years in academia, progressing through roles from lecturer to professor. Her achievements have been acknowledged through several awards, including the Women Researcher Award from the International Scientist Forum in 2021 and the Service with Humanity Award from Thaangum Vizhuthugal and the Lions Club Association in 2019 She is also a member of a professional organization like the Trained Nurses Association of India. (TNAI)Member of the Nursing Research Society of India (NRSI), Member of the Indian Association of Neonatal Nurses (IANN). Additionally, she has been recognized for her contributions as a peer reviewer from 2018 to 2023 by interdisciplinary international journals with high impact factors and has completed 64 articles as a peer reviewer. Dr. Sakthivel is an editorial board member for Texila International Nursing Journal and two national nursing journals from Red Flower Publication, New Delhi, and she authored a chapter in the 2023 Textbook of Pediatric Nursing published by CBS Publishers. She has organized a national conference on adolescent health and a state-level workshop, WONDER-2023, focused on maternal and child health promotion, funded by the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council. To date, she has nearly 70 publications in Scopus, PubMed, Web of Science, and Google Scholar indexed journals, presented 14 scientific papers and 18 concept papers at various conferences in the state, national, and international levels, and has also received three awards for best paper presentations at National and International conferences.
