Dr. Rajni Pandey, a trailblazing academician, has been recognized with the Scopus Index International Best Professor of the Year Award in Home Science for 2025. Currently serving as Assistant Professor at P.G. Department of Home Science, Patna University, she has an impressive academic pedigree, having secured the top position in the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) in 2018. A consistent topper and gold medalist, Dr. Pandey earned her graduation degree in Home Science from Rajendra Agricultural University,M.Sc.and Ph.D. from CCS Haryana Agricultural University. With 7 years of teaching experience and qualifications including ICAR (JRF) in 1997 and UGC-NET in 2000, she has published over 25 research papers in esteemed journals and presented at numerous conferences. Dr. Pandey is also a member of the Research Development Cell and Incubation Hub at Patna University, editor of book "Research: Impediments and Solutions," and author of "Millets: Cookbook" and "Food and Nutrition: A Practical Manual". Notably, she was previously honored with the International Distinguished Academician of the Year Award in Social Science in 2024.
