Dr. Rajeswari Hemanathan has won the title of SCOPUS INDEX 2025 under "International Best Researcher Award for her contribution in the field of Mental Health Nursing for her work on Compassion Fatigue". Dr. Rajeswari Hemanathan is a registered Nurse and Midwife. She is in the field of clinical nursing and nursing education for the past 23 years. She started her career as staff nurses and held various positions in academics with the highest being the Vice- Principal cum Professor and HOD of Mental Health Nursing. She has doctorate in mental health nursing, with additional qualification of master’s in psychology, Counselling and Psychotherapy. She has certification as a Compassion Fatigue specialist, NABH Accreditation for Hospitals, ISO 21000:2018 Lead Auditor (Educational Organisations Management Systems). She has member ship with associations like Trained Nurses Association of India, Indian Society for Psychiatric Nursing, Indian professional psychological association, Hypnotic Circle, Member in NLP and TA, Nursing Research society of India, Alzheimer’s and related disorders society of India. She takes up the role of implementation of curriculum, teaching, learning and evaluation for the undergraduate and post graduate students. She is a counsellor and psychotherapist. To her credit she has many papers published in various national and international journals and done presentation at various National and International conferences. She has published totally 48 research articles, has 167 citations with 6 h index and 3 I index. Has organized 7 conferences, been resource person for 15 conferences, presented 20 scientific paper and participated in 29 conferences. Achievements: Awarded with first prize in Scientific paper presentation held in International conference on Ethics and responsible conduct of research: basics and beyond Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Hospital, Porur, Chennai (Oct 2014). Awarded Best Poster presentation on Music therapy on anxiety among elderly in Andhra Science congress (Nov 2019). Best paper award Scientific paper presentation held in 7 th National Nursing Conference on Recent Advances and Innovations in Health Care-Nursing Perspectives, SRM College of Nursing, Potheri, Kattangulathur, Chennai (Feb 2020).
