Mr. B Vaidhyanathan from Prathyusha engineering college has won the title of “International Research
Award”
Vaidhyanathan is an enthusiastic and dedicated academician and researcher with a strong foundation in
Biotechnology. He earned his Master’s degree from SASTRA University, where he developed a keen
interest in Tissue Engineering and Tissue Culture. Since 2021, he has been actively engaged in research,
continually striving to bridge scientific knowledge with innovative biotechnological solutions. His
research expertise spans across multiple cutting-edge domains, including Nanotechnology, Biomaterials,
and advanced Animal Cell Culture techniques. He is particularly passionate about developing novel
biomaterial-based scaffolds for regenerative medicine applications, exploring cellular responses to
engineered substrates, and enhancing the efficiency of in vitro tissue culture systems. His
interdisciplinary approach combines principles of biology, materials science, and engineering to address
real-world healthcare challenges. After completing his postgraduate studies, he began his academic
career as an Assistant Professor at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, where he worked for two
years. During this period, he played an instrumental role in guiding undergraduate and postgraduate
students in their research projects, fostering scientific thinking, and building laboratory competencies
among budding biotechnologists. Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor at Prathyusha
Engineering College, located in Tiruvallur. In this role, he continues to pursue his research interests while
also contributing to curriculum development, academic mentoring, and institutional growth. His
commitment to research is reflected in his 4 scientific publications and an h-index of 1, which
underscore his early yet impactful contributions to the field. With a strong drive for continuous learning
and innovation, Vaidhyanathan aspires to expand his research portfolio, collaborate on interdisciplinary
projects, and contribute to advancements in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. His long-
term vision is to develop sustainable and clinically translatable solutions that can improve human health
and well-being.
