Dr. Shivi Snigdh has won the title of SCOPUS INDEX 2025 under “The International Best Researcher Award – 2025.” I feel immensely grateful to the organization for honouring me with this recognition, for to be counted among the best researchers on an international platform is both a profound moment of pride and an enduring responsibility. My passion for psychology began early, nurtured by curiosity to understand the human mind and behaviour. This path has been shaped by dedication, perseverance, and an unwavering belief in the transformative power of this wonderful discipline. I pursued my Bachelor’s degree at Patna College, Patna University, which laid a strong foundation for my journey, followed by a Master's degree in Psychology with specialization in Clinical Psychology from Patna University, which I passed with distinction (76.50%). Meanwhile, I also qualified UGC-NET in psychology in 2023 and completed my Ph.D. in Psychology from Lalit Narayan Mithila University where I immersed myself in research that sought to answer questions of a clinical syndrome, its academic value and its impact on organizational, educational as well as social dimensions. Alongside academics, I undertook Suicide Prevention Facilitation Training, which equipped me to engage in one of the most urgent areas of mental health, addressing crises with sensitivity and responsibility. Over the years, I have contributed actively to research with several papers published in UGC-CARE listed journals and participated in numerous workshops, seminars, webinars, and conferences at national and international levels, which not only broadened my perspectives but also fostered valuable collaborations. Among my recognitions, receiving the President’s Gold Medal Award from the Indian Psychological Association in 2022 and 2023 stands out as a cherished milestone. At the heart of my journey lies the belief that psychology is not merely an academic pursuit but a science of understanding, healing, and empowering lives, and I have always sought to bridge the gap between research and practice so that knowledge benefits communities, institutions, and individuals who need it most. Thus, winning the International Best Researcher Award – 2025 by SCOPUS INDEX is not just a personal triumph but a collective recognition of the discipline I represent and the people who have inspired me along the way, and I feel deeply honoured to stand at this global forum with a renewed pledge to continue my pursuit of knowledge, innovation, and service to humanity with even greater dedication.
